R. Bailey Cabinetmakers introduces custom made solid wood furniture
built for the multi-chemical sensitive. All of our furniture is
designed to function and serve the purpose for whom it was made
without infringing upon the vital life of the environment or
individual.
We build for you. All furniture is handcrafted individually, and
made exclusively for the customer. Each piece is signed and dated by
the Cabinetmaker.
If you have special needs or desires for wood preferences please
let us know. Each piece is finished using natural oil finishes and
waxes. We also specialize in water borne finishes that are listed "safe
finishes". We will finish the furniture with the product you
recommend or feel comfortable with. Special attention is paid to the
customer's needs, functions, budget, design and desires.

All of our couches, chairs and beds
are wood structure only. Cushions, upholstery, mattresses are to be
obtained by the customer.
We use these American hardwoods: Cherry, Maple, White Oak,
Basswood, Walnut, Red Oak, Beech, Sassafras, Birch, Poplar and Alder.
We predominately use these woods, but don't mind using others. We do
try to stay away from the woods with resins such as Pines, Cedars and
Redwood.
All of our work is very custom in nature so please feel free to
ask us for a certain design. Please visit our showroom
for examples of our work, and check back often as new items will be
added regularly.

with you and help you come up with a piece that will not only fit your
function, but won't kill you either.
