Harrison, a town of 13,000, uses the slogan "Crossroads of the Ozarks" to denote its location at Highway 65 and 62/412. South is the Buffalo National River; north are Branson's entertainment attractions; east is big Bull Shoals Lake; and west is the Victorian village of Eureka Springs. Special events include the annual Labor Day weekend Air Show of the Ozarks, as well as spring and fall Art League and seasonal festivals. North Arkansas College is a two-year college that serves the area.
