at Flippin and drive west on Hwy. 202 to Summit, then to Yellville for the back country
view of the land, or take Hwy. 62/412 west if you prefer
passing lanes on your trip.
Yellville is the home of the Turkey Trot Festival every
October. Highlights are the National Wild Turkey Calling
Contest (2nd Sat.), turkey dinners at the high school, the
Miss Drumsticks and Miss Turkey Trot contests, and entertainment

A large city park features tennis courts,
baseball fields, a playground, and access to Crooked Creek,
one of the state’s
most popular smallmouth bass fisheries.
