South
Shore Web Site Expanded
Steven G. Sanders, president of NATCO, shows a home page
printout of the South Shore Foundation's newly designed and expanded Web site. With
him are owners of Brooks-Jeffrey Marketing, Inc., Jodie
Jeffrey-Sanders and Shannon Brooks, whose company designed
and constructed the Web site. |
The South
Shore Foundation has added a Youth Page to its Web site as well
as other new features like expanded Yellow Pages Online for a
three-county area (Marion, Boone, Baxter). The Web address is
www.southshore.com.
"Because
South Shore Foundation continues to fund youth activities, the
Youth Page gives these programs the attention they highly deserve,"
said foundation trustee Jodie Jeffrey- Sanders. "When we
recognize the South Shore Soccer Association and the South Shore
- Marion County
Youth Leadership Team, we also salute many Marion County adults
who are involved in the youth projects," the trustee said.
School calendars
can be found at the Youth Page for many of the South Shore area
schools in Marion and Boone counties, plus Baxter County.
The entire
Web site has a new look with more pictures and features that change
each week. According to the Web development team at Brooks-Jeffrey
Marketing, the new design makes the Web site easier to use. "Many
people use the South Shore Web site as their home page or portal
to the Internet at home or at their business. Now they can get
their daily Weather or start a Search with Google easily with
these items displayed across the top of the page by the date,
time of day clock, and new Yellow Pages Online," said Jeffrey-Sanders.
Features of
the Web site reflect the mission of the South Shore Foundation,
which is to enhance the quality of life in the service area of
the Northern Arkansas Telephone Company using telecommunications
technology for educational advancement, environmental preservation,
economic development, and community betterment.
The South
Shore Web site also contains:
