to Join South Shore Foundation Board

Robert Gray, of Bull Shoals, superintendent
of the Lead Hill School District, is a new member of the South
Shore Foundation Board. South Shore Foundation is the charitable
division of NATCO Communications in Flippin. The term is for
three years.
Gray has been in the field of education for
26 years and has worked in northern Arkansas for the past three
years – first as
Flippin Middle School principal. He holds an educational specialist
degree from the University of Central Arkansas and earned his Bachelor
of Science in Education degree at Henderson State University. Gray
is a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School.
In accepting the appointment to the board,
Gray said, “I
think this partnership will help bridge the school and community
gap. This should be a great affiliation to help people in our communities.” A
member of the Diamond City Chamber of Commerce, Gray also belongs
to Arkansas Officials Association, Arkansas High School Coaches
Association, and Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators.
Gray’s family members are his wife,
Andrea Beth Gray, a son, Robert L. Gray Jr., and daughter, Heather
E. Gray. Gray enjoys time with his family as well as golf, basketball,
football, and lake recreation.
The South Shore Foundation awards grants to nonprofit agencies
for projects of educational advancement, environmental preservation,
and economic development. It funds college and vocational scholarships
for Marion, Boone, and Baxter county students.
