Judy R. Loving has completed a three-year term on the South Shore
Foundation Board. She is the chairman, chief executive officer
and board member of Twin Lakes Community Bank at Flippin.
Ms. Loving said two scholarship
programs started by the South Shore Foundation Board while she
was a member were of great interest to her. They are the Millie
and Ray Sanders – South
Shore Foundation Endowment at North Arkansas College at Harrison,
from which the first scholarship was awarded this fall, and scholarships
for Certified Nursing Assistants through North Arkansas Partnership
for Health Education at Harrison.
“These scholarship programs are important to the youth of
our area as they begin their higher education as well as to non-traditional
students studying to acquire higher skills and better paying jobs.
I am glad to have supported these programs,” said Ms. Loving,
who previously worked as a teacher in the Yellville-Summit school
system for 10 years before entering banking.
In addition, Ms. Loving praised
the South Shore Foundation’s
support for environmental preservation work of the Arkansas Game
and Fish Foundation when it donated $25,000 toward the Fred Berry
Conservation and Education Center along Crooked Creek near Yellville.
Ms. Loving is also a board member for the Northwest Arkansas Economic
Development District. As she leaves the South Shore Foundation
Board, she continues to serve as a board member for the Arkansas
Game and Fish Foundation, Baxter Regional Medical Center Foundation,
and Twin Lakes Community Foundation.
Ms. Loving has four grown children. She is married to Rick Hinterthuer
and they reside at Yellville.
South Shore Foundation is the charitable division of NATCO Communications.
