Dale C. Query
of Flippin is a new member of the South Shore Foundation Board of
Directors. The superintendent of Flippin Public Schools, Query began
a three-year term in February. South Shore Foundation’s parent
company is Northern Arkansas Telephone Company.
"South
Shore Foundation has an excellent reputation for making a difference
by funding projects that are beneficial to our youth and communities,"
Query said. "As an educator, I share those goals and welcome
the opportunity to be a member of this organization."
Query has worked
in education for 32 years as a Flippin teacher, coach, and administrator,
and was Bruno-Pyatt superintendent for four years before becoming
superintendent at Flippin in 2005. He graduated from college at
Western State College in Gunnison, Colo., and earned his M.A. and
Ed. S. degrees at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He
is a Rotarian, attending the Bull Shoals-Lakeview Rotary Club, a
Methodist, and a member of state and national school administrators’
associations. His wife is Kay Query, administrator of Marion County
Department of Health & Human Services. He enjoys golf, hiking,
fly fishing, canoeing, and volunteering.
