The Baxter
Bulletin is giving readers a chance to let their thoughts become
public.
The Bulletin's
new online forums and story chats are at www.baxterbulletin.com.
The story chat option lets readers comment on articles and topics.
Also, each community in the Twin Lakes Area will have a forum
for residents to discuss issues involving their towns.
A place to
leave comments about a particular story can be found at the bottom
of the online article, while the community forums have a separate
category.
Bulletin Online
Manager Dan Greer said participants will have to register with
a valid e-mail address and agree to terms and conditions to access
the forums.
Greer said
the forums are just another way The Bulletin can get feedback.
"It's
a place for people to put their 2 cents in," he said. "People
can comment on stories, the community or other topics."
Publisher Betty
Smith said the addition of forums to The Bulletin's Web site
is a great addition.
"Everyone
who has access to a computer now has a way to share information
with folks in their community and around the world," she
said. "We encourage you to take full advantage of this new
feature."
Managing Editor
Kandra Branam said she is excited to hear what the community
has to say.
"We're
very excited about opening these community dialogues for our
audiences," she said. "I can't wait to see what people
have to say about their towns, about what's going on in the world
around them. I'll probably be online every night now, checking
out these new forums."
