Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism

The Harrison Convention and Visitors Bureau and the National Park Service/Buffalo National River are formally joining forces to promote tourism in Harrison and the regional area.

Superintendent Ronald Switzer and Harrison CVB Executive Director Terry Cook have been working together for many months to accomplish this joint venture, signing a Memorandum of Understanding in June.

Partnership programs planned include developing a regional vacation and tourism guide, attending marketing and trade shows, conducting hospitality training for employees in the area and sponsorship of selected events.
