| Overview
South
Shore Marion County Adult Leadership is a non-profit
group funded mainly by South Shore Foundation. The
group was originally started by Entergy Corp. in the
early 90s. With the help of grants made through South
Shore, we are able to enhance the leadership skills
of people in our county. Additional funding is provided
by area businesses including: Entergy, Arvest Bank,
First Federal Bank, US Bank and Ranger Boats.
Our
Purpose:

promote civic involvement of potential leaders in
the community.

provide leadership training for members and new
members.
- To
identify worthwhile projects that better our community.
- Provide
means of communication to keep members informed
and involved.

We
focus on civic involvement and community development
throughout Marion County. Current projects include
production of a sign for the county and development
of a proposal for inclusion in the Arkansas Community
of Excellence Program. |
