R. Loving Appointed to South Shore Foundation Board of Directors

Judy
R. Loving, chairman of the board of Arvest Bank North Central Arkansas
and owner of Clabber Creek Consultants, LLC, has accepted an appointment
as a director of the South Shore Foundation, the charitable foundation
of Northern Arkansas Telephone Company. The foundation’s chairman,
Jodie Elizabeth Jeffrey, made the announcement.
During a 17-year
banking career, Ms. Loving served the Bank of Yellville and its
successor, Arvest Bank, as president and chief executive officer.
Last year she left banking to start her own company to consult with
small businesses on financial matters.
Previously a
teacher and reading specialist in the Yellville-Summit elementary
school for 10 years, Ms. Loving holds bachelor’s and master’s
degrees in education from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
Ms. Loving’s appointment to the South Shore Foundation Board
is for three years. She accepted the position saying, "It is
an honor to be asked to serve with this dedicated group and I look
forward to helping in whatever way I can."
Ms. Loving is
a board member for Arkansas Game & Fish Foundation, Twin Lakes
Community Foundation, Baxter Regional Medical Center Foundation,
and North Arkansas College Foundation. She is, additionally, on
the board of Northwest Arkansas Economic Development
District and Arvest Bank. Her hobbies include sailing and hiking.
She is a member of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Mountain
Home.
New South Shore
Foundation Director Loving has four grown children. She is married
to Rick Hinterthuer and they reside at Yellville.
The South Shore
Foundation funds scholarship programs for Marion County high school
graduates, Arkansas State University Mountain Home students from
Marion, Boone, and Baxter counties, and leadership training programs
for Marion County youth and adults. The foundation also grants funds
to nonprofit groups for projects that further environmental preservation
and economic development. It was established in 1997.
