Grants Workshop II is Open to Public March 29 at NATCO

Grants Workshop II - Finding Your Funding, a half-day event to help nonprofit groups learn about locating grant funds, will be Tuesday, March 29 at Northern Arkansas Telephone Company (NATCO) in Flippin, from 1-5 p.m. NATCO is the parent company of the South Shore Foundation, which is the sponsor of the event.

A featured presenter is Bob Pest, director of corporate relations at Arkansas Educational Television Network. Pest teaches grantsmanship and other nonprofit management and fund-raising courses for both Ozarka College and the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville. Pest is also co-founder and president of Ozark Foothills Film Fest, host of an annual spring film festival in Batesville, Heber Springs and Searcy.

Presentations also will be given to those attending about state-offered grants, grant resources at local libraries and on the Internet, local community and corporate foundations. Resource materials will be provided to participants, who will have opportunities for networking.
