Grants Workshop 2000 Draws Maximum Audience

The first of its kind in this area, Grants Workshop 2000 signed in 118 participants. The half-day session provided information about applying for grants, state-offered grants, grant resources at libraries and on the Internet, private foundations, nonprofit organization tax requirements, packets of information, and an opportunity to talk with others about grant funding. South Shore Foundation of Flippin was the organizer and sponsor of the event. A video of the workshop will be available for viewing by other interested parties.
