With the approach of the holiday season comes the universal question,
"What should I buy?" Whether you're shopping for a co-worker, Uncle
Bob or Grandpa Jim, enjoy the quest for the perfect present this
year with gifts that are uniquely Arkansas. The Natural State is
home to many businesses that provide gift ideas - large and small,
in all shapes and sizes - that are bound to fit the taste of those
special people you're shopping for.
To appease a sweet tooth, shop for Brent & Sam's cookies, a
variety of delectable gourmet cookies made from scratch in Little
Rock. Chocolate chip pecan is their signature delight. The company
offers corporate gifts and holiday gift tins. (501-225-7624; www.brentandsams.com)
For a nuttier snack, try Andrews Candy Company in Arkadelphia. Shoppers
can also watch the various nut brittles that Andrews is famous for
being cooked, poured and stretched - one batch at a time. Candy
is made daily from September through December. (870-246-2796; www.andrewscandycompany.com)

The site also provides information for those interested in purchasing
originals.
