South Shore Foundation Will Recognize Outstanding Teachers in 2005

Annually, South Shore Foundation honors outstanding teachers working in South Shore area schools. Those schools are: Flippin, Bruno-Pyatt, Yellville-Summit, Lead Hill, Bergman, and Omaha. Awards will be made in three divisions: K-5th, 6-8th, and 9-12th. Each winner will receive $1,000.

Those eligible must teach full time (plan, teach, and evaluate students), be fully certified in the subject taught, have at least four years of teaching experience, participate in professional development activities, and work with students on co-curricular or extracurricular activities.
