Fly
Fishermen Will Converge on Mountain Home
March 2003
On
March 28-29, 2003 the North Arkansas Fly Fishers will present
the 6th Annual Sowbug Roundup,
a "Celebration
of Fly Fishing," at the Ramada Inn in Mountain Home.
Over 100 expert fly tiers from all over the United States and even
a few from Europe will be on hand to display their latest creations.
Two days of interesting and informative seminars are on tap to
make people a better fly fisher.
Certified casting instructors will teach anglers how to cast or
help tweak casting form. Hands-on fly tying lessons will show beginners just how easy it
is to tie a fly. Auctions, drawings and vendor displays will offer
a variety of rare and unusual items. And best of all, trout fishing
in the famous White and North Fork Rivers.
Show admission is $5 for both days and the trout fishing is free
(you will need a valid fishing license and trout stamp).
