Air
Ozark Regional Airport in
Midway, 870-481-5418, has a 5,000 foot runway. Charter service
is available from Mountain
Home Flight Service, 870-481-5995, or Pro Aviation, 870-481-6222.
Pro Aviation also provides flight instruction and pilot services.
Ground transportation is provided by Sundown Limousines. Weather

Boone County Airport,
870-741-5211, has a lighted runway 6,161 feet long by 150 feet wide. Charter
service is offered by Crown Aviation, 2424 Airport Rd., Harrison, AR 72601,
870-741-4510. Single and multi-engine airplanes are available.
Marion County Regional Airport in
Flippin, 870-453-2241,
serves business aviators and recreational pilots. The airport currently
has a 4,100-foot paved, lighted runway, and has a runway extension
to 5,000 feet under construction. Services available are fuel sales
(Jet-A, 100-LL) and hangar space. The airport is open 8 a.m. -
5 p.m. daily. It has an instrument landing system. Corporate aircraft
using the airport include Ranger Boats and Mar-Bax Shirt Company.
There are also landing strips at Gaston's Resort in Lakeview and
at the Valley Fly-In subdivision in Cotter, both on the White River.
Area residents also use the Springfield, Missouri, and Little Rock,
Arkansas, airports.

Local Bus
Regularly scheduled bus service is available in select areas of
the South Shore region.
Parts of Marion and Baxter Counties are served by North Arkansas

The Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP) offers free bus service
to Harrison for shopping, recreation and errands for those who
no longer drive. The bus leaves from Omaha at 8:30 a.m. on Monday;
Diamond City and Lead Hill are served on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m.;
and on Thursday morning the bus leaves Zinc at 8:30 a.m.
