Air

County / Regional Airports

Ozark Regional Airport in Midway, 870-481-5418, has a 5,000 foot runway. Charter service is available from Mountain Home Flight Service, 870-481-5966, or Pro Aviation, 870-481-6222. Pro Aviation also provides flight instruction and pilot services. Ground transportation is provided by Sundown Limousines, 870-481-6200. Weather at the airport from NOAA.

Boone County Airport, 870-741-6954, has a lighted runway 6,161 feet long by 150 feet wide. The address is 2424 Airport Rd., Harrison, AR 72601. Limited commerical service is currently offered through Sea Port Airlines, and rental cars are available through Hertz.

Marion County Regional Airport in Flippin, 870-453-2241, serves business aviators and recreational pilots. Located at 954 Airport Road in Flippin, AR, the airport currently has a 5000 ft. paved runway with three instrument approaches. There are numerous pilot services and repair services available. Flight instruction includes aerobatic, ATP, CFI, CFII, commercial instrument, multiengine, private.

There are also landing strips at Gaston's Resort in Lakeview and at the Valley Fly-In subdivision in Cotter, both on the White River, however these are not open to the public. 

Area residents also use the commercial airports in Springfield, Missouri, Branson, Missouri and Little Rock, Arkansas.
