Phone Service 

Local & long distance phone service in the South Shore area is provided by one of four companies, depending on location: 

Alltel, 800-255-8351, located in Harrison, provides local
       service to parts of Boone County. 

Northern Arkansas Telephone Company, 1-800-775-6682, is
       located in Flippin and serves Bull Shoals, Diamond City,
       Flippin, Lead Hill, Omaha and Pyatt.

Yelcot Telephone Company, 870-435-2611, is in Gassville
       and serves Gassville and Cotter (the 435 exchange) as well
       as Yellville and Summit (the 449 exchange), 870-449-4211.

Century Telephone, 870-425-6659 or 800-201-4099, is in
       Mountain Home and serves Norfork and Calico Rock, as well
       as some other areas of Baxter, Marion, and Izard Counties.

Internet Service 

The South Shore area has dial-up & broadband Internet access provided by NATCO.
