Arkansas State Championship Chili Cookoff to Be Held September 25
September 1999

The town of Bull Shoals will host the 4th annual Arkansas State Championship Chili Cookoff on September 25 at Mountain Village 1890. Cooks from all across the country will compete for top honors in this event, which is sanctioned by the International Chili Society. The winner will then compete in the World Finals in Nevada.

Categories for competition include an Amateur Division, a Salsa Division, and a Professional Division. There is also a People's Choice category.

Hours for the day-long event are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to the cookoff, there will be games, contests, music and other types of entertainment.
