"Ozark Knifemaker"

        I started making knives in 1964. I had lots of help and encouragement from the Late Jimmy Lile; if it had not been for him, I probably would not be doing this today. I sold my first "Custom Knife" in 1966. I mostly made knives as a hobby. I sold a few from time to time. I gave knives as gifts to people that had helped me in some way or other. In 1992, after a few "Health Problems", I began making knives fulltime. 

  I build Bowies, Lockback Folders, Single and Two Blade Trappers, and Traditional Sheath Knives. All of my Knives are made in the "Tried and True" Traditional way. ( No Screws)
  Every Knife that I build is made in my Shop totally by me. I do all of my own Heat treating. I also supply Hand-stitched leather Sheaths with all Straight Knives and Hand-stitched Belt Pouches with my Lockback Folders. 

  The photos will give you a very good idea as to the type of work that I do. Every knife I build is a "One-Of-A-Kind" creation. I use only the finest knife steel and materials available today. I prefer to"Custom Build" to your specifications; that way your knife is truly.... "YOUR KNIFE."
